The strong metal clips are lined with a special synthetic liner that won't damage the boots, deteriorate them, or leave any permanent impressions.  This is The Boot Hanger's most important feature and involved significant R&D to design.

 How does The Boot Hanger save space?

The tension clips are set one in front of the other and slightly apart so the boots hang "cradling" each other, heel to arch. This creates double the space for storage.

The Boot Hanger fits on any size closet rod, even the largest ones.  Unlike some other products, there is no need to custom install a smaller rod to hold The Boot Hanger.
