The Boot HangerTM was invented out of “necessity” by Lindsay Sokolowski. Lindsay is an attorney by day, an inventor by night, and a passionate boot collector and fashionista all the time. Back in 2007, Lindsay was scouring the market to find some way to protect her growing shoe investment. When she came up empty-handed, Lindsay set to work designing her own solution - The Boot HangerTM.

Lindsay soon found herself inundated with requests from friends and family who wanted to buy The Boot HangerTM. Empowered by her passion for shoes and her purpose to help like-minded consumers, less than one year later Lindsay was incorporating her own company, Boottique, Inc., The Boot HangerTM was being manufactured, and her retail website, www.boottique.com, went live.  By 2010, The Boot HangerTM was patented and Boottique, Inc. was trademarked.

Lindsay definitely identified an unaddressed consumer need. Boottique, Inc. has grown year over year since it's inception. The Boot HangerTM has been named "Best Product" in the containers and storage category three years running. The Boot HangerTM has also received the coveted "Fashion Faves" award, and has been featured on national television and on several consumer product and lifestyle websites and blogs.
